Indian M/C invades France

Read this on another Blog. It seems KM is hot to get to the foreign market when they haven't even have the market covered in the US. Maybe they'll find it easier to sell a $35k heavy weight cruiser in France....Fred are you getting one??

Indian Motorcycle announced the appointment of its first exclusive importer/distributor in Europe. The well known Paul Chedid Automotive Group has formed Indian Motorcycle France to promote the selling of the Indian Chiefs, Indian Motorcycle Accessories and Indian Motorcycle Apparel in France, Monaco, Luxembourg and Belgium. For over twenty years, the Chedid Automotive Group has imported many prestigious American automotive brands including Cadillac, Hummer and Corvette.

I haven't heard about that.
...and I never have heard about this Paul Chedid Automotive Group.... just looked on google to know something about it. Nothing about the new Indian on their website http://www.paul-chedid.fr (only in French)

I know modern Indian are sold in Germany and I thought it was also the case in Belgium.

"Lot" of people phone me to get papers for these new Indian... once they have bought them.

i'll let you know if I get news...

I wrote to them on March 29th, still waiting for a reply.
As they are quite close from my home I may visit them...

I met Paul Chedid last weekend. For now I think there should be no problems between us. The invited me to their "open door" days, we'll see....
