Indian 4 clutch
I am working on a '41 Indian 4 and the clutch is stuck in the engaged position. I have tried to break it loose by rocking it in gear, leaving the clutch pedal in the disengaged position for weeks , and also running it, but it is locked up good. It looks like the only way to get to the clutch is to drop the pan, ie, pull the engine. Has anyone had this problem or any ideas how to free it up?

4 clutch
You might try kick starting it in 2nd gear and while depressing the clutch pedal accelerating and decelerating quickly on the road ,the torque of the motor may break it free.this has worked for me in the past.

Thanks for the reply. I'll give that a try and let you know if it worked.
